Shits kept happen this year in this business, the one thing bother user most is no doubt about that password being stolen. All these kinds of issues include:
Xcode being hacked, you need change password now!
Ministry of Education’s “IME” platform’s administrator use “123456” as password, btw, there’s no change password option.
Infact, the essential issues is that user usually have many similar password, or even worse, like “123456”.
In order to solve this problem, ZKTeco established a team to use cloud computing and biometric ways to find solution. This team is called *anti-hack, they dedicated themselves to help user able to login their account by using QR code, fingerprint, facial, voice and so on. They published 2 new functions this month: first one is ID identify system for enterprise intranet(private cloud), second one is enterprise, able to let other application integrate with.
There are several advantages if enterprise use biometric ID identification:
- Easy to manage: OA, ERP, Exchange are different systems and many accounts, but now, a single employee biometric ID account will cover all.
- Solution for public account: if company can authorize several biometric characters, there is no chance that the public account’s password be will leaked out.
- Biometric characters( or QR code): password without letter, how safe is that.
Other than that, fingerprint, voice, human face are is to collect by using phone, so their are low cost projects.
Several mainstream applications, such as Wechat, Alipay are all start using biometric identification(one is facial one is voice).
