Precise Biometrics Announces CFO’s Departure

Precise BiometricsPrecise Biometrics Announces CFO's Departure has announced that its CFO is leaving the company. Bo-Göran Jaxelius has also been a member of the company’s management team in a more general sense, but unfortunately cited family reasons have compelled him to resign from his post.

In a statement, Precise Biometrics CEO Håkan Persson said Jaxelius “has done a great job” in his role, and expressed sadness at his leaving the company. “I am sorry to see him leaving Precise Biometrics,” he said, “but understand and respect his decision to give priority to his family.”

Jaxelius will continue in his position until summer of this year; meanwhile, the company has begun looking for a replacement.

The company undoubtedly has high standards for its management team – as evidenced by the re-election of its board in February – but it shouldn’t have trouble attracting candidates for the CFO post. The company has been doing brisk business focusing on the mobile fingerprint market and the enterprise market, and just announced this week that it has won a prestigious award from growth consultancy firm Frost & Sullivan. It seems to be on a roll, and it’s going to want a new CFO who can keep it rolling.
